Dear Members of the Community:

On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, staff and residents of the Dartmouth Housing Authority, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our website:

On this site we hope to make a myriad of information available to those who wish to find out more about the types of housing that are offered as well as eligibility requirements, site information, ongoing activities and links to supportive services and other related agencies.

It is the mission of the Dartmouth Housing Authority to provide safe, sanitary and affordable housing to both the elderly and non-elderly disabled. We have priorities and preference ratings; they being elderly veteran residents, non-elderly veteran residents, elderly non-veteran residents, non-elderly non-veteran disabled residents, elderly non-residents, and lastly, non-elderly non-residents.  Rent is based on income and is charged at 30% of net income.

The Dartmouth Housing Authority meets every second Monday of the month at 4:30 p.m. and we rotate our meeting between both complexes.  Agendas are made public at the Town Hall and on this website.

The Board is comprised of three (3) members.  Their names and contact information is as follows:

  1. Elaine Lancaster, Chair:  20 Beechwood Dr., Dartmouth, MA
  2. Cheryl A. Cieplik, Member:  203 Gaffney Rd, Dartmouth, MA
  3. Brock N. Cordeiro, State Appointee:  15 Sagamore Dr., Dartmouth, MA

The office hours for the management is 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Emergency numbers for maintenance are available in the Tenants’ Handbook.

We have two sites:  Sol-E-Mar in South Dartmouth and Munroe Terrace in North Dartmouth as well as a Section 8 Voucher Program.  We  also  manage the O’Connor-Sisson House for Veterans .
